This fishboat, general was built in 1932 in Skagen.
Historische Notizen
The MMBC stated "Built in Skagen Denmark in 1932. Fished in Denmark until 1939. Then sailed to Greenland and fished until the 1970s. Gipsy was purchased by a Danish Shipright and rebuilt and sailed the Atlantic, the Straits of Magellan, and Pacific before staying in the Pacific NW.
She has made Alaska her home since 1985 and just finished a ten year rebuild."

In 2025 she was owned by USA interests.
