This submarine chaser was built in 1944 by Commercial Iron Works in Portland, OR.
On June 17, 1945 this vessel was damaged when she hit an uncharted rock off Theodore Point on Attu Island TA USA.
In 1944-1948 she was owned by the United States Navy.
In 1948 she was transferred to the Republic of Mexico Navy.
