Biographie
(He was qualified as a Master Mariner.) He purchased land on Pender Island from Gilbert Herbert Ainslie.
In 1918 he purchased a large part of Discovery Island where he lived for a considerable time.
He donated the property to the Boy Scouts of Canada and it became a Provincial Marine Park.
