Biografie
When he came to British Columbia he was involved in several gold rushes.
In 1871 he joined the soda water business of Thomas Shotbolt and started his own business in 1872.
He was a manufacturer of soda water, lemonade, ginger ale, bitters and syrups in New Westminster BC 1886-94.
He formed a partnership with J.K. Greenwood on Wharf Street in Victoria.
In 1881 he bought out his partner.
He also manufactured soda water in Waddington Alley in Victoria BC.
