He was appointed as a Leading Seaman RNVR in 1943.
He served in 31 Service Flying Training at Kingston ON Canada. (CFR) He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) RNVR.
He served in RNAS East Haven.
He served in RNAS Peewit.
Barracuda
He was killed on December 30, 1944 when his Barracuda crashed into the sea during squadron flight drill.
