Biografie
In 1940 he qualified as a Junior Radio Officer in the UK.
He sailed in merchant service vessels.
He was qualified in radar becoming a test technician in high power radar installations.
In 1952 he came to Canada working for Foundation Maritime Ltd. At Halifax NS as a radio officer in deep sea salvage tugs.
He served in oceanographic research vessels in Halifax and on the west coast.
In 1985 he served in the Queen of the North.
Militärdienst
He served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War serving in landing craft. (He was demobilized.)
