Biografie
Lois Luckovich (Email to Nauticapedia 24/05/2023) stated that "He was the son of the lightkeeper at Estevan Light Station, Anton Luckovich. My Grandfather, Anton Luckovich was born January 6th 1863 in Vienna Austria and immigrated to Canada in 1881.
He married Anna Kemper in 1882 and they had 4 children. Anna died in 1895.
He then married my Grandmother, Catherine Lucky in June 1896.
They had 12 children, their eldest son was my Uncle William John Luckovich. My Dad Betram was their youngest son who was born there in 1908. His birth was broadcast by radio to Victoria thusly, "Mrs. Luckovich safely delivered a baby boy today".
