In 1917 he served in HMS Vivid. (He was demobilized).
逸話
He died from cerebro spinal meningitis at the Royal Naval Hospital East Stonehouse 3 Jun 1917.
He is buried at Ford Park Cemetery Grave Ref: CS 11 5.
