Servicio militar
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (ROUTP) (NR).
He served in HMCS Tecumseh for ROUTP.
In 1990 he served in OP FRICTION in HMCS Terra Nova in the Persian Gulf. (Transferred to RCAF). Commenced flight training with the RCAF.
In 2006 – 2011 he served in 4 Tours in Kandahar, Afghanistan, flying Hercules from 436 Transport Sqn. Dec 2010 - Jul 2011 OP ATTENTION - Task Force Commander: TASK FORCE CANUCK, Tactical Airlift Unit Kandahar.
In 2015 MDS – RMC/CF College, Toronto, ON Thesis: Operational Support Hub - In the Far East: A Strategic Capability Gap .
He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Colonel (RCAF) In 2015 – 2017. In July 2015 – July 2017 he served as Commanding Officer – 431 Air Demonstration Squadron (Snowbirds).
