She was the daughter of F.C. Manning.
She married firstly G. Fank Hunt, who died three years later.
In 1953 she married Armour Ford, a lawyer and in 1958 they settled at Sproat Lake BC.
She was a President of the Alberni Valley Historical Association.
In 1974 she and her husband donated 130 acres (52 hectares) of land as Fossli Provincial Park.
軍歴
She served as a Major (Canadian Women's Army Corps) during the Second World War. (She was demobilized.)
