Servicio militar
He was appointed as a Boy Seaman RCN 1939.
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCN. (He was demobilized.) (He rejoined the navy in 1948.) He was appointed as a Chief Petty Officer RCN. (CFR).
He was appointed as an A/Commissioned Officer (TAS) RCN (With seniority dated 12/02/1955).
He served in HMCS Niobe as Staff Officer 1955.
He was appointed as a Commissioned Officer (TAS) RCN (With seniority dated 12/02/1955).
He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN.
He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (LD) RCN.
He served in HMCS Stadacona on Staff of Flag Officer Atlantic Coast.
He served in HMCS Beacon Hill (In command) 1966. (He was released.) (He was qualified for TAS duties.)
