軍歴
He was appointed as a Chief Petty Officer RCN. (He was missing-presumed killed 22/10/1940 while serving in HMCS Margaree (Cdr. Joseph Wilton Rouer Roy, RCN in command) when she was sunk in the North Atlantic while escorting convoy OL-8, after a collision with the freighter Port Fairy.)
逸話
In 1938 he was awarded the RCN Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
