It was formed in 1919 with the HQ in New Westminster BC. Affiliated with the Trades and Labour Congress it merged in 1945 with the United Fishermen's Federal Union No.44 and the United Fish Cannery and Reduction Plant Workers Federal Union No. 89 to form the United Fishermen and Allied Workers' Union.
