逸話
They were established in 1904 by a group of businessmen from Minneapolis MN USA. It was organized by the American Securities and Finance Co. and capitalized at $7.5 million. It built a small mill at the mouth of the Cottonwood Creek BC. Two of the Directors were C.C. Yount and a Mr. Boulton.
They took over the Harbour Lumber Co. in Revelstoke BC and a mill in Comaplix BC.
They were taken over by the Bowman Lumber Co. in 1905.
