In 1928-1958 he served as a Magistrate at Powell River BC.

He was appointed as a Wireless Telegraph Operator (Second Class) RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/03/1916).

He was appointed as an A/Ist Class Wireless Telegraph Operator RNCVR (With seniority dated 15/12/1917).

In 1917 he served in HMCS Niobe as Additional for Duty at Port Nelson (Wireless Telegraph Station). (He was demobilized.)
