He was the third son of Sir John Frederick Whitworth Aylmer.
He lived at Queen's Bay, Kootenay Lake BC.
He married firstly, on 28/02/1916, Bessie Irving Watson ARRC of Westward Park Wigton UK. After her death he married secondly on 03/10/1960, Helen Cooper Hogg of Toronto ON.
He was appointed as a Captain (CEF).
