Biographie
"Mr. Justice Colvin was called to the Bar in 1985, and since then has been in private practice, mainly in criminal law.
He is a certified specialist in criminal litigation and has conducted over 2,000 trials throughout Ontario. Bilingual, Mr. Justice Colvin has been involved with the Juridical French program at the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Law.
He has been president of the Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario and vice-president of the Fédération des communautés francophones et acadienne.
In 1999, he was awarded a life membership in the Mérite francophile by the Association canadienne-française de l'Ontario."
Service militaire
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1966.
He served in HMCS Donnacona for UNTD 1966-1968.
He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Training 1967.
He served in HMCS Malahat for Training (Cadet Captain) 1968.
He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) 1968. (He was released.)
