Anécdotas
They bought the sawmill at Nanoose Bay at a bankruptcy sale in c1916 from Newcastle Lumber Co. and Merchant Trust Lumber Co. This mill closed in 1942. The Haslam Lake Timber and Logging Co. Railway was sold in 1916 to the Straits Lumber Co. of Everett WA USA and sold again in 1918 to Bloedel, Stewart and Welch.
