Woods, Desmond Gerard

After his naval service he was a radiologist in Halifax NS and Professor of Medicine at Dalhousie Medical School.

He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant RCN 1949.

He served in HMCS Naden.

He served in HMCS Nootka as Medical Officer (Korean War service).

He was appointed as a Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 26/10/1954).

He served in HMCS Donnacona for Residency in Radiology (Royal Victoria Hospital).

He was appointed as a Surgeon Commander RCN (With seniority dated 11/1963).

He served in CFB Montreal.

He served in CFB Halifax.

He served in CFB Edmonton.

He served at CFB Esquimalt.

He served at CFB Halifax for CF Hospital as Chief of Radiology. (He retired in 1974.)
