Biography
In 1906 he worked on the Lake Superior hydrographic survey.
He was the assistant to Captain P.C. Musgrave in 1907 in the hydrographic survey work at Prince Rupert BC.
In 1911 he was detached for work at Pacofi BC in the Queen Charlotte Islands.
In 1912 he undertook a survey between Otard Bay and Port Louis on Graham Island.
In 1914 he surveyed in the Skeena area in H.M.C.S. Naden as Officer-in-Charge.
