He served in HMCS Avalon 1951.
He served in HMCS Iroquois 1954. (Reverted to RCN(R)).

He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R) (With seniority dated 31/05/1957).
In 1949-1958 he served in HMCS Hunter. (He was released.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
