Biography
He served as an Apprentice in the sailing ship Thermopylae when she was sailing out of Victoria BC.
He served in the CGS Newington as Mate 1912-1922. (He was qualified as a Master Mariner.) He was the Master of the CGS Estevan 1922-1944.
In 1944 he retired in Victoria BC.
Anecdotes
He was a member of the Thermopylae Club in Victoria BC 1948.
