He received Lot 202, Group 1, New Westminster District as a military grant of 150 acres on 14/03/1870.
He worked in the Government Printing Office in New Westminster BC and Victoria BC until within a month of his death.
軍歴
He was a Bugler in the Royal Engineers who was a member of the Columbia Detachment in British Columbia 1858-63. In 185 he helped to capture amn aboriginal man who was accused of murdering a French miner to steal his gold.
He was active in the New Westminster Rifle Corps and the Victoria Rifle Corps.
