Biografie
In 1981-82 he led an expedition in the Boston Whaler Morgan Stanley as part of the Transglobe Expedition 1979-82. His route took him up the Yukon River to Dawson YT, by highway to Inuvik NT.
He completed a West to East partial transit of the Northwest Passage via Resolute up to Alert completed in one season in a Boston Whaler powered with two 60hp outboard engines. Then he travelled over the ice to the North Pole, over the ice towards Spitzbergen, andwas picked up by rescue vessel and transported to UK.
