Quilchena Store

1885–

⚓

逸話

It was established by R. Johnson. It was sold in turn to W.R. Megaw and again in 1885 to Robert Charters. Charters ran the store and post office for many years. Then the store went through several changes of ownership until it came into the hands of the Guichons. The present building was the first building in the valley constructed of stone in 1912, by the Guichon family.
