Anekdoten
In 1906 David Spencer bought control of Drysdale and Stevenson Ltd. a drygoods shop on Hastings Street in Vancouver. Shortly afterwards the name was changed to David Spencer Ltd.
By 1948 there were stores in Victoria, Vancouver, New Westminster, nanaimo, Courtenay, Duncan, Chilliwack, and Mission. The Vice-President was Victor Spencer. The company was sold on 01/12/1948 to the T. Eaton Co.
