He served in HMCS Star for Training. (CFR).
He was appointed as Officer Cadet (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1964).
He served in HMCS Venture (Officer Training Establishment) 1965.
He was appointed as A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 15/10/1965).
He served in HMCS Yukon for Sea Training 1965.
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 15/10/1965). (He was qualified for a Watchkeeping Certificate 22/08/1966.) RCAF Borden for Primary Flying Training 1966.
He served in RCAF Portage La Prairie for #3 Flying Training School 1966.
He was awarded Pilot Wings on 28/07/1967.
He transferred to RCAF Winnipeg for Flying Training School 1966.
He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1967. (He was killed in a Tracker crash at CFB Downsview 02/02/1968.)
