He served in RCAF Centralia for Primary Flying Training 1966. RCAF Portage La Prairie for advanced Flying Training 1966. Awarded Pilot Wings 01/10/1966. A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 08/07/1967).
He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1966.
He served in HMCS Venture and HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1967.
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 08/07/1967).
He served in RCAF Portage La Prairie for Flying Instructor School 1969.
He served in CFB Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron as Flying Instructor 1970.
He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN 08/1970.
