He was appointed as a Flying Officer RCAF 1942-5, (Transferred to RNVR).
He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR.
He served in the RN Fleet Air Arm as Pilot 1945.
He served in H.M.S. Heron for 759 (RN) Squadron 1945. (He was demobilized in 1946.)
