Biografía
He was the son of Henry Beatty.
He articled with a lawfirm in Toronto.
In 1901 he was the assistant to the General Counsel of the CPR.
He was the General Counsel of the CPR in 1913.
He was the Chairman of Canadian Pacific Railway Company, Montréal PQ 1918.
He founded the Beatty Steamship Lines.
In 1942 he founded the Canadian Pacific Airlines.
Servicio militar
He was appointed as an Honorary Captain RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/04/1938).
He served in the Montreal Division RCNVR 1938.
