The Forestry Vessel Beatrice R.

In 1913 she was built as a patrol vessel by the Hinton Electric Co. in Victoria BC. 10.1m x 2.9m x 1.4m (33.0’ x 9.6’ x 4.5’) wooden hull 9.36gt 6.37rt In 1941 she was rebuilt at the B.C. Forest Service Maintenance Depot and repowered about 1958 with a 83bhp diesel engine.

In 1913-1970 she was owned by Minister of Lands, Forests and Water Resources, Victoria BC. In 1977-1979 she was owned by Joseph A.D. Bohun, Nanaimo BC. In 1986 she was owned by Ann Irving, White Rock BC. In 1989 she was owned by Fifth Wheel Investments Ltd., White Rock BC.In 2003 she was owned by the British Columbia Forestry Ship Society, White Rock BC. In 2003-2004 she was owned by Zora Szilagyi, Ladysmith BC.
