Significance of Name Yrrebeinna is 'Annie Berry' spelled backwards. Cleodoxa was one of the Niobids who were, in greek mythology, the children of Amphion of Thebes and Niobe, slain by Apollo and Artemis.
 
Anecdotes
Melodie Blundell (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 29/10/2019) stated "This vessel is still in Cowichan Bay. This vessel is for sale currently. 1912, 54 ft. Started life at 36 ft but was cut in half and lengthened in around 1936 when another member of the Vancouver yacht club got a bigger boat. They used a cross cut saw on her. The joint is still visible in her keel. We hauled her for 38 yrs, did a ton of work on and in her over the years for Rob Fox." Geoff Hill (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 16/01/2019) stated that "I knew Cleo in the late 1970s and on while Rob Fox owned her. Did some painting and sanding. Cowichan shipyard,looked after her for years, did everything and well. Rob swapped out the gas engine for a Lehman diesel,rebuilt by the high school shop class. " Melodie Bludell (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 16/01/2019) states that "This vessel started life at 36 ft I think. In 1924 someone at the yacht club got a bigger boat, so nothing would do but Cleodoxa was cut in half with a 2 handed crosscut saw and lengthened to her present size. There was no head room in her living area when Rob got her, so a cabin was built with lovely mahogany sides, and windows for more light. We replanked 75% of her topsides, with a lot of sistered ribs. Also new guards. Decks were marine plyed with epoxy cloth, which involved lifting, cleaning, bedding and reinstalling all her teak caps, and trim. New horn timber. New 4cyl Isuzu in 2000."
