Anecdotes
The RCN employed her as a fire boat at Esquimalt BC. (Reports that this vessel was commissioned into the Fisheries Reserve appear to be unfounded.) In 1943-1944 this vessel was tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy II. In 1945 this vesselattended the scene of a plane crash near Esquimalt Harbour and towed the wreckage into the harbour. The plane was carrying horses being flown across the Pacific. In 2015 this vessel was destroyed by fire.
