Anecdotes
In 1949 this vessel was based on Great Central Lake BC. This vessel was burned for scrap. Darrell Ohs states "After the war it was moved from Sproat Lake to Great Central Lake, where it was used by Canada Gold ltd. to supply their mine near Della Falls and later by BC Hydro for dam and generating station construction. My uncle, Frank Burke, operated LC5 during it’s years on Great Central. Ultimately it was working in Kingcome Inlet until 1973."
