Anecdotes
In 1903 this vessel struck Schagg Rocks at Esquimalt BC and was beached just in time to prevent her foundering. This vessel came to rest in 15 feet of water. The British Columbia Salvage Company used a large centrifugal pump into her and within minutes had her afloat again. After being repaired this vesseldropped her tail shaft and wheel at Vancouver soon after arriving. In October 1919 this vessel was reported as being ashore on Galiano Island BC.
