Anecdotes |

Jan Nielsen (Email to Nauticapedia 04/08/2019) stated "I have a 18' vessel built by Turner Boat yard as a scow tender with its original 2 cly Vivian built in 1940, how do I go about registering her ? I've had her about 9 years, was given her by Bill Garden the navel architect of fame who used her for 50 years prior. Bill details her in one of his books. He use to tow it from Seattle behind his 60' sailboat Oceanus to the Broken Group where he had a place before it became a Park. He'd leave her at Ostrom's in Bamfield for the summer." |
