Anecdotes
In 1964 this vessel was launched by Mrs. E.O. Ormsby (wife of the District Agent of the D.O.T. at Prince Rupert BC). In 1975 under her Master, Captain P. Kalis this vessel made a West to East transit of the Northwest Passage. This vessel fueled at Herschel Island YT and headed east to Cambridge Bay travelling with the Camsell. At the south tip of Baffin Island this vesselfueld from the Norman McLeod Rogers and then on to Cape Breton. Afterwards this vessel was then stationed in the Great Lakes.
