Anecdotes
This vessel was built for the RCMP as part of the reconstruction process in 1953 for ā€œEā€ Division. Mrs. NcNaught, wife of Special Constable McNaught, Mechanical Supervisor for ā€œEā€ Division (British Columbia), sponsored her In 1961 ML 1 was transferred to the RCMP Marine Division and in 1962 her name was changed to Westview. At the time this vessel was serving in the Zebellos area but was then moved to Westview and Gibsons area. This vessel carried a Warrant to wear the the Blue Ensign ML1 349 (1961) / Westview 389 (1962). Sister Ship: ML 2 / Tahsis.
