Anecdotes
Nigel Elliott states "I purchased a 1986 Hourston Glascraft from Crown Asset in Victoria (about 3 years ago}. It is (i think) a 17.5 hardtop. This vessel was used by Police, Parks and possibly Fisheries - I was told by multiple agencies. Does not appear to have been used in saltwater. This vessel needed a lot of work but it is in great shape now. Vessel was and is licensed. Her name is Lily Rae. This vessel has a new transom and bottom. This season this vessel will get a camper top. This vessel is equipped with chartplotter, vhf, solar. Primary engine is a 90hp Honda and a kicker 9.9 HT Yamaha and will be used for fishing and camping touring. I like her lines and very much enjoy owning a part of the past."
