In 1942 she was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government and her ownership was transferred to His Majesty the King. In 1942 she was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve. In 1945-1948 she was owned by Franklin Kirkland, Saturna Island, BC Canada. In 1949-1966 she was owned by Matt Alecsich, (MO), Vancouver BC Canada. In 1966-1974 she was owned by Westview Enterprises Ltd., Vancouver, BC Canada. In 1975-1976 she was owned by Early Field Fishing Co. Ltd., Ganges BC Canada. In 1977-1980 she was owned by Legate Enterprises Ltd., West Vancouver BC Canada. Anecdotes

In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. In 1942 her ownership transferred to His Majesty the King. In 1942 this vessel was appraised at $7,300. In1942 this vessel was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fisherman's Reserve. In 1943 this vessel was a tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy (II). In 1944 this vessel was a tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy. On October 8, 1976 this vesselgrounded and sank near Neck Point in Georgia Strait.
