Named Features
Significance of Name	Lea Edgar writes that "Dinamac is an acronym for Dina McCulloch and I am assuming she was the wife of James McCulloch, from whom Home Oil chartered the vessel in 1935."

 

Anecdotes
In 1935 this vessel was built as a coastal tanker capacity 23,000 imperial gallons of gasoline or oil at Vancouver BC. This vessel carried Home Oil products. In 1987 this vessel was converted to a fishpacker. Lonnie Edward Berrow (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 13/12/2018) states that "I think this vessel was wrecked or sank on the central coast in the early 1990s."
