Rick James states that "this vessel was thought to have been a purpose-built rum runner." He further states that "A contact at the Puget Sound Maritime Historical Society said that this vessel was used by the Coast Guard Auxiliary in WWII at Rich Passage at the submarine nets and the last owner he was able to determine, in early 1970s, a Carl O Jaderlund, Tacoma WA " |
