Anecdotes |

On March 4, 1949 this vessel was struck by the anchor of the Olga in Vancouver Harbour BC knocking one of her crew into the water. Simon Hill (Email to Nauticapedia 11/02/2020) stated "The tug was last hauled out in 2010, and has since been partly disassembled in what started out as a rebuild effort. The wheelhouse, deck and engine were all removed (with the wheelhouse and deck broken up, and the engine put aside for reinstallation), but then the project stalled. Jim Stockwell says the hull remains sound, and he is now trying to find someone interested in saving the vessel, which is what led him to write in to the magazine." |
