Anecdotes

This vessel formed part of the pre-war Fishermen’s Reserve Fleet. This vessel was mobilized 15 Sep 1939. On September 7, 1939 this vessel was commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy Fishermen's Reserve. In 1942 this vessel was serving as tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy. In 1943 this vessel was serving as tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy II. In 1944 this vessel was serving as tender to H.M.C.S. Givenchy. Andrew C. Clarke reports (29/04/2017) that "In 2015 this vessel sank at the dock in Bella Coola. This vessel was pulled out with an excavator and broken up." The vessel register for this ship was still open in 2022.
