Ken Lund reported that "Windward Fishing and Packing was Gus Pardiac from Deep Bay, Gus had owned a number of earlier vessels also with Cloud in the name. The tidal grid at Deep Bay was installed by Gus to accomadate his boat and the grid was donated to the harbour.
