Anecdotes
This vessel was a Royal Navy ship loaned to the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and returned to the RN. On September 23, 1943 she was hit by a Gnat torpedo from U-666 in her magazine and blew up in the North Atlantic. Only 3 survivours.
