Anecdotes
This vessel operated across the Peace River with a barge 30 miles north of Dawson Creek BC. Michael Coney (1983) claims in his book that this vessel was renamed as Forest Pioneer, but there does not seem to be evidence for this claim. The Clayhurst was a reaction ferry being built in the same yard around the same time. This conflation of names has been endlessly repeated causing confusion.
