Anecdotes
On November 8, 1950 this fishpacker, under the command of Captain John C. Bowden, ran aground on the southern end of Denman Island BC. This vessel was being operated as a packing tender taking salmon from Comox to Vancouver with a load of fall Chum salmon on board. Overnight this vesselrolled over on her side and the crew were safe in a dinghy when assistance arrived. This vessel was refloated on the rising tide.
