Anecdotes
In 1941 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners by the Canadian Government. In 1942 her ownership transferred to His Majesty the King. On September 8, 1945 this fishpacker owned by Fergus Woods, Vancouver BC was in collision with the J.O. Edwards, one mile northwest of Klewnuggit light in Grenville Channel BC. This vessel sank in 125 fathoms and her crew: Captain Fergus Woods and Frank Leask were rescued.
