Anecdotes
Mike Wright (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 27/12/2017) states that "Hayes Logging did a repower and refit on it in Maple Bay and put a pair of John Deere engines in it. l took her for a run and was freaked out by how top heavy this vessel was and refused to do the next run. The next Capt. ran her up to full speed and then throttled back too fast. This vessel went under bow first. I was out in a small skiff watching and helped rescue the crew. FRPD salvaged the vessel. Afterwards this vesselsat the old log dump."
